So many international fashion houses express their aesthetic world during Salone — proof that style is not just fashion, but a holistic expression of how we live, move, and create atmosphere. Dior Maison’s presence this year reaffirmed just that.
As part of its ongoing Ode à la Nature collection, Dior Maison introduced a poetic collaboration with French designer Sam Baron. The result: three monumental glass vases, each paying homage to nature’s shifting seasons. Standing nearly a metre tall, they are striking in scale. Hand-blown in Italy and adorned with delicate branches, flowers and translucent leaves, they reflect Dior’s enduring sensitivity to beauty and craft. This is haute nature. Set atop refined bases that recall classical pedestals, the rounded forms of these designs echo the original Miss Dior amphora bottle from 1947. Only eight editions per model have been made — a discreet reference to Monsieur Dior’s lucky number, and mine as well.
Nature, of course, has always been central to this maison. Monsieur Dior found lasting inspiration in gardens and blooms. Dior Maison continues that reverence through carefully made objects for everyday rituals — from tableware and candleholders to these limited-edition pieces.
Sam Baron lives and works between Portugal and France, while his creations travel the world. He is known for combining function with a strong design narrative, creating works for clients like Vista Alegre, Hennessy, and Dior Maison. His thoughtful approach to materials, rooted in craftsmanship and history, lends these vases a quiet resonance.
Since 2019, Dior Maison has collaborated with a select group of international designers, including the acclaimed Milan-based DimoreStudio. What began as smaller-scale object collections has gradually grown into a deeper exploration of the art de vivre — where dreamscape and design meet in perfect balance.
