BDK Impadia eau de parfum

Impadia, the latest fragrance in Maison BDK’s Collection Parisienne, reflects everything the house stands for: creative compositions, fine ingredients, and that effortless spirit belonging only to Paris. The city of love, home of BDK, is the primary inspiration for the collection. Marked by memory and imagination, it lies at the heart of the olfactory approach. Each fragrance reveals a moment in a journey through the arrondissements of the French capital.

Perfumer Jordi Fernández, known for his mastery of Middle Eastern perfumery, signed this new creation for BDK. The blend of ingredients feels both timeless and strikingly new. Luminous notes of mandarin, bergamot, pear, and ginger open the scent. The heart blossoms with Bulgarian rose oil, Turkish rose absolute, and delicate orange blossom from North Africa. A sensual base of Madagascan vanilla, praline accord, Peruvian balm, akigala wood, sandalwood, and soft musk anchors the composition. The result is a flowery, ambery embrace with a woody undercurrent – a tribute to the everlasting beauty of Parisian gardens.

All signature bottles are angular, inspired by the architecture of an iconic Parisian monument. The black bottle cap, modelled after the dome of the Grand Palais, is handcrafted by a traditional goldsmith. The glass bottles are made by a master glassmaker in Normandy.

The name Impadia blends “impérial” (imperial) and “dia” (Latin for day), a nod to capturing the golden moment when twilight begins to set – a fleeting yet radiant memory. Impadia shines – an imperial day captured in a Parisian bottle.

Founder David Benedek draws from a rich family history connected to the French perfume trade, creating a Maison where heritage and modernity frame each creation – with every fragrance produced entirely in France since its founding in 2016.
