In the basement of Dover Street Market Paris, layers of black and white tulle fill the room. Large panels of fabric hang from the ceiling, turning the space into a romantic dressing room where the magic begins. Here, New York designer Miss Claire Sullivan presents her monochromatic trunk show, a playful and refined edit that turns fashion into a living performance.

The trunk showroom of Miss Claire Sullivan
Black mesh leotards stitched with tiny hearts, asymmetric full tulle skirts, sculpted shoulder pads, a double mesh one shoulder dress that shifts easily from top to gown, and a made to measure corset in black. And more. Sullivan’s work carries a sense of performance. It is about feeling alive and joyful within the clothes themselves. And you can feel the joy in the space.
Her designs can be worn as costume or as armour, as fantasy or self portrait. It isn’t dressing up for a festival, it’s dressing as the main character. This Paris moment brings together New York’s theatrical heart and Parisian precision.
