During Dutch Design Week, the Piet Hein Eek complex turns into one of Eindhoven’s liveliest spots. The site houses several design studios and showrooms, and during the week guest designers present new work throughout the space. Inside the main building, where the atelier and concept store of Piet Hein Eek are based, his own pieces sit alongside work by many talented designers, such as Tweek Eek, and brands including Serax, Freitag, Aesop, Toyo Tool Box, and others. It’s a mix of design, vintage, and craft, and also a great place for lunch.
