Nowadays, seafood service feels far less formal than it once did. During the 18th and 19th centuries, specialised silver fish cutlery and serving pieces became part of European dining etiquette, originally designed to prevent the flavour of fish from reacting with iron or steel. This production for Lekker 500 explores contemporary table culture through shell-shaped serving pieces, marine motifs and expressive objects inspired by classic seafood dining traditions.
