Maison Margiela has long challenged conventional ideas of luxury. Since its founding in 1988, everyday objects, white painted interiors and anonymous labels have shaped the house’s visual language. The Replica fragrances extend that approach, capturing memories rather than places.
For Replica Lazy Sunday Morning, I returned to the visual language of Hong Kong breakfasts. Steamed dim sum, chopsticks and porcelain bowls became hand-drawn paper objects. Simple, imperfect and deliberately playful.
