Playfulness has always been part of Miu Miu’s identity. Since its founding in 1993, Miuccia Prada has used the house as a space for experimentation, where youthful irreverence is intertwined with refined craftsmanship.
The new eau de parfum Fleur de Lait captures that exact spirit. Built around notes of mango, osmanthus and coconut milk, the fragrance is inspired by the comforting sweetness of a milky dessert, reminiscent of one of my favourites: mango sticky rice.
For this still life, I looked back to one of Miu Miu’s defining design codes: the matelassé bag introduced in the mid-2000s. Its sculptural quilting became the starting point for a landscape of folded paper, echoing the bottle’s faceted surface. A familiar object, translated into another form.
